A sign of our national attention span? More like a reflection of the length of our commute. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for something to read on a crowded Metrobus and then throw away 15 minutes later.
"I'm glad the editors of Express can shovel and shoot pics because they sure as shit can't report and write."
Most of the articles are sourced from AP, and that includes major events in the DC metro area. The Express team just shortens them to fit into the paper.
The original content in the Express is usually as in depth and compelling as "What are local area bloggers saying about the new furniture store on 14th St NW?"
The examiner is a conservative masterpiece. Does not pull any punches. I love the confused looks on the face of people who read the examiner, not knowing of the wonderful content within :)
I really do love and ONLY read the Express. It's like a mini blog in my hand. Great find!

ReplyDeleteAgreed with Isaiah. Express is awesome
ReplyDeleteThe only newspaper with less news than USA Today. A sign of our national attention span.
